Overview

My graphic design journey began at age 6 within the borders of the Paint app on my computer. I doodled everything: stick figures, birthday cakes, and my personal favorite... the Golden Gate Bridge. At age 21, I am still drawing bridges and learning ways to bridge creativity with design.

I joined Innovative Design, UCLA's first student-run creative agency, in the Fall of 2022 as a Marketing Strategist. One year later, I served as the President of an organization with 70+ members.

The chapter was founded in Spring 2022. In just two years, InnoD has successfully completed 25+ real-world client projects within the fields of design, web, and photography. Additionally, we have hosted 15+ external-facing workshops and reached 800+ people globally.

Our core values are community, education, and accessibility. We strive to cultivate a creative space for students to gain professional experience and drive meaningful impact.

We recently got featured on the Daily Bruin,UCLA's main newspaper on campus!

Social Media Content Creation

My main job as a Marketing Strategist was to curate content for our Instagram page @innodatucla. Working in a team of three, we focused on developing strategies to establish the foundational brand identity of the organization. I primarily used Figma and Procreate to make graphics and Adobe Premiere Pro for short-form videos.

In one year, I helped grow our social media presence by 102%. By researching market trends and utilizing user analytics, I successfully optimized our content performance and audience engagement.

Here are some of the graphics I worked on:

Marketing Campaign

Last Spring, we hosted our first collegiate-wide conference called Design Decoded, an annual event to explore the complexities of design and technology. Our schedule of events included keynote speakers, introductory design workshops, career panels, and a design challenge.

For three months, I was part of a cross-functional planning team. Early on, I made Pinterest moodboards and helped develop our branding guidelines. I mainly worked on curating our social media presence, building a comprehensive marketing plan, and external outreach initiatives.
